Consumer buying behavior is changing. Telling your own sustainability story to your customers and employees builds trust, credibility and loyalty. This can help you get more business and increase your brand presence. Over a 12-year period, brands with a high perception of positive impact have seen a 175% increase in value, in contrast to 86% for companies with medium positive impact and 70% for low positive impact according to the Kantar Purpose 2020 study.
With each liter of fuel used by your fleet, pollutants are released into the environment. Your program fee is used to offset the negative environmental impact of fossil fuels. The Edenred Move for Good program measures your fuel's emissions and invests proportionately in certified carbon offset projects across the world to offset your impact. These include renewable energy development projects, landfill methane capture, carbon capture, and destruction projects, and more.
With every liter of fuel you buy with your card, the CO2 emissions from your fuel usage are tracked and calculated. Through investments in certified carbon offset projects around the world, the program offsets your emissions by up to 100%.

Edenred Move for Good, powered by PDI Sustainability Solutions, calculates your carbon emissions through the amount of fuel you buy, not the type of vehicle. This allows us to accurately calculate the emissions your vehicle's produce, regardless of vehicle type. It doesn't matter if you drive fuel-efficient vehicles or use more conventional transport - we calculate the emissions produced from the volume of fuel you buy.
Carbon Offsets and Projects
A certified carbon offset is a certificate that represents the reduction, destruction, or sequestration of one metric ton of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. Certified carbon offsets are produced by certified carbon reduction projects. These projects must abide by strict guidelines established by internationally recognized standards and with the purpose of generating certified carbon offsets.
Carbon offsets are purchased to offset equivalent CO2 emissions. These offsets are certified and traded, similar to shares on the stock market, through one of the officially recognized carbon registries, such as the Gold Standard, Climate Action Reserve and Verified Carbon Standard.
A certified carbon reduction project is a project specifically designed to reduce, capture, or destroy greenhouse gases that would otherwise be emitted into the atmosphere.
There are many different types of carbon offset projects to avoid, reduce, destroy, or capture greenhouse gas emissions. Project types include, though are not limited to, renewable energy, such as wind farms; geothermal energy and hydroelectric dams. Others include energy efficiency projects; the destruction of industrial pollutants or agricultural residues; greenhouse gas abatement; non-till cultivation; landfill methane destruction and reforestation projects.
